Designing of the web site is usually a task undertaken by a team of web designers. When it is team work, the inputs from the different team members need to synchronized and managed professionally. If there is no coordination between the team members, the desired results cannot be achieved.

Before managing the team of web designers, you should study yourself properly. You should analyze your behavior and try to know what sort of management you like. There are some managers that opt for authoritative and autocratic kind of management. In this case the views of the team members are not considered at all, and on the contrary, the team member has to just implement the decision made by the team leader. The other way of managing the team is through including the team members in the decision making process and seeking active participation of the team members in completing the given task.
Study of the team members:
Without the contribution of the team members no venture can be successful. Before assigning the task to the team members, you need to study their psychology and the motivating factors that make them strive for higher organizational goals. It is not necessary that the factors that motivate you should motivate your team members too. The things usually go wrong when the decisions are taken unilaterally without consulting the team member. The motivators for the team members could be different. So, one has to study the psychology of the team members before taking up any new work.
